This small clear acrylic dome end cap is for use with the 2″ Series Watertight Enclosure for ROV/AUV. The dome shape resists higher pressure than a flat end cap and is also well-suited to use as a camera viewport! It has a wider field of view than that of a flat end cap. It’s optically clear and won’t warp or distort your footage. We designed this dome to go with our high-pressure 2″ Series Aluminum Tube, and we have tested both extensively up to depths of 1,000 meters in the Crushinator!
The dome is sized just right to interface with the face-seal O-ring on the 2″ Series O-ring Flange, and it must be used with that product to form a good seal.
