SECTION 1 - RETURN PERIOD
We have a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- In the same condition that you received it
- Unworn or unused
- With all original tags attached
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase
SECTION 2 - HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

Please note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You must contact us first to receive authorization and instructions.
Return Process:
- Contact us at sales@oceanrobotix.com with your order number and reason for return
- Wait for approval - We will review your request and respond within 1-2 business days
- Receive instructions - If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how and where to send your package
- Ship the item - Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it to the address provided
Return shipping address will be provided upon approval of your return request.

SECTION 3 - DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if:
- The item is defective
- The item is damaged
- You receive the wrong item
Contact us at sales@oceanrobotix.com so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We may request photos of the damaged or defective item to process your claim faster.
For damaged or defective items, we will cover the return shipping costs and expedite your replacement or refund.
SECTION 4 - EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including but not limited to:
Non-Returnable Items:
- Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)
- Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)
- Personal care goods (such as beauty products)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Sale items or clearance products
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products or digital content
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"

SECTION 5 - EXCHANGES
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to:
- Return the item you have following the return process outlined above
- Once the return is accepted and processed, make a separate purchase for the new item
This ensures you receive your preferred item as quickly as possible.
SECTION 6 - EUROPEAN UNION 14-DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.
EU Return Requirements:
- Your item must be in the same condition that you received it
- Unworn or unused, with tags
- In its original packaging
- You'll need the receipt or proof of purchase

SECTION 7 - REFUNDS
Inspection and Approval:
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. We typically inspect returns within 2-3 business days of receipt.
Refund Processing:
If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
Timeframe:
Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. The total time from approval to funds appearing in your account may be:
- Credit cards: 5-10 business days
- Debit cards: 5-10 business days
- Online payment services: 3-5 business days
Delayed Refunds:
If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return and you haven't received your refund, please:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company - it may take time before your refund is officially posted
- Contact your bank - there is often processing time before a refund is posted

SECTION 8 - PARTIAL REFUNDS
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use
- Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Items returned more than 5 days after delivery (except for EU customers with 14-day rights)
SECTION 9 - SHIPPING COSTS
Return Shipping:
- Standard returns: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error
- Defective/damaged items: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you
- Wrong item shipped: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you
Original Shipping Costs:
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (unless the return is due to our error or a defective product).

Order Cancellations:
You may cancel your order before it has been shipped. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you may return it following our return policy.

SECTION 12 - RESTOCKING FEES
We do not charge restocking fees for standard returns that meet our return policy requirements. However, custom or special-order items that are returned may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price.
SECTION 13 - INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
For international orders, customers are responsible for:
- Return shipping costs
- Any customs duties or import taxes incurred during the return process
- Ensuring the package clears customs in both directions
We recommend using a trackable shipping service for international returns.
