The BlueBoat Antenna and Accessory Mast boosts BlueBoat communication range by raising the antenna above the surface of the water.
High-frequency radio waves like the Wi-Fi signal used by the BlueBoat rely on clear line of sight to stay strong and stable. When the antenna sits low to the water, waves and surface chop can block or absorb the signal. Reflections off the water surface can also cause interference and reduce performance.
This mast raises the antenna two feet above the BlueBoat deck, improving line of sight for stronger, more stable communication. In our testing, this simple change increased communication range by up to two times on average. It’s compatible with both the standard Wi-Fi antenna and the Cellular Modem Kit antenna.
