The T200 Mounting Bracket makes it easier to mount the T200 Thruster to a variety of surfaces. The mounting bracket is not required to mount the thruster, but if it is difficult to use the normal thruster mounting point, this mounting bracket may be an easier option. This is useful, for instance, on the hull of a boat or surfboard.
