The engineers at Microsoft designed this controller to be ergonomic for anyone, to provide precision control, and to be abused by frustrated gamers for many years. That also makes it a perfect vehicle controller suited to the challenges of everyday use in the field. Connects wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired with a USB-C cable.

Product Description

The BlueROV2 and BlueBoat can be used with any gamepad or joystick controller, but this is the controller that we use and recommend. The Xbox Wireless Controller is ergonomic, precise, and durable enough for ROV operations.

This controller has:

  • 2 force-sensitive joysticks with center-click buttons
  • 16 buttons available for button functions
  • Additional 15 functions assignable on a shift layer

…all of which can be assigned to functions on the BlueROV2 and BlueBoat or any other ArduSub controlled vehicle.

The controller has a Bluetooth wireless connection to your computer or device, but you can also connect a USB-C cable to provide a hardwired connection. It is powered by two AA batteries with up to 40 hrs of battery life.
